What is a Night Nanny?

Our team of night nannies in Vancouver & Toronto provide overnight support to families during the first year of their baby's life. They are highly trained professionals who specialize in infant and newborn care, breastfeeding support, and can provide feedback and guidance on your baby's development if needed.
Our baby specialists come from the following backgrounds:

Postpartum doulas

Newborn Care Specialists

Internationally trained nurses & Midwives

What does a Night Nanny do?

During the night they will feed, rock, burp, change and soothe your baby. They can also help with breastfeeding or pumping, laundry for the baby, sanitizing bottles/pump parts, and provide guidance and feedback on your baby's development as requested.

If breastfeeding, the night nanny can bring your baby to you in bed so you don't have to get up, and then they settle the baby once you are finished.  Alternatively, they can meet you in the nursery or wherever you prefer to feed. If bottle feeding, they will take care of all night feedings so you can sleep through. If you need to get up to pump, your night nanny can get everything ready, bring the pump to you, and then come collect the milk, properly store it and get the pump washed and ready for your next session.

They will also keep an overnight log with your baby's feeds, diaper changes, sleep, and any other pertinent notes.

Guiding You Through Each Step Of The Booking Process

I booked Jocelyn for a few evening shifts when my husband was away and I can't even begin to describe how amazing the service was. Jocelyn took care of my 17 day old baby in the evenings and it was perfect! I felt safe leaving my baby with her to get some sleep, and every morning she would tell me about her evening and never left her side. There will definitely be more nights with Jocelyn in the future.Thank you, Jessica!
